SUN SUN One of the forgotten stories of Magna Carta is the City of SUN London's attempts at commemoration in 1965. Left-Handed SUN Liberty, written by the Marxist playwright John Arden and SUN performed, in front of the Queen at the Mermaid Theatre, SUN caused consternation among its commissioners in the City. SUN They had not fully realised Arden's leanings and view of the SUN monarchy! SUN SUN Andrew Dickson pieces together the haphazard commissioning SUN of the play and its staging at the Mermaid.
